With just a few weeks to go until the Premier Padel circuit kicks off, fans will be able to enjoy the first competition this week that will feature some of the best professional players. The second edition of the Reserve Cup starts this morning from Thursday 23rd to Friday in Miami. Unlike last year, in 2025 it will have 3 tournaments in the United States and will be renamed the Reserve Cup Series.

What is the Reserve Cup 2025?
The Reserve Cup 2025 is a prestigious padel tournament that takes place in the United States and brings together the best players in the world. This event, which has established itself as one of the most important competitions on the calendar, offers the biggest prize money in the history of padel, making it an attractive event for both athletes and fans.
The tournament was created by Jimmy Butler, NBA star, and Wayne Boich, professional tennis player, who started the competition last year with the idea of offering an innovative format and a unique experience.

Which professional players are participating?
Seventeen of the best players in the world will participate in the Reserve Cup 2025, according to the official ranking. Among them stand out great figures such as Arturo Coello, Agustín Tapia, Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón, who are consolidated as favourites to win the title.
Players such as Paquito Navarro, Federico Chingotto, Mike Yanguas and Javier Garrido are also part of the competition, bringing a high competitive level to the tournament.

Reserve Cup Series Format
The competition format of the Reserve Cup is based on a ranking in which the player with the most points in the 3 tournaments that will be held throughout this 2025 will be the final winner.
These are the points awarded per tournaments:
- Tournament winner: 25 points.
- Victory per match: 15 points.
- Games won and lost: 1 additional point for each game won and -1 for each game lost.
