Yesterday the 2024 season ended and today the 2025 Premier Padel calendar has been announced! To the surprise of many, the professional circuit regulated by the International Padel Federation has announced its events and dates for next season.
7 new venues appear on the calendar
Premier Padel’ s 2025 calendar represents a milestone in the global expansion of professional padel, consolidating its position as the world’s leading padel circuit. This ambitious schedule includes 24 tournaments in 16 countries, with at least seven new venues including Miami, Buenos Aires, Cancun and Germany, marking the first time the circuit has visited these regions. These additions strengthen padel’s presence in South America, North America and Europe, furthering its growth in key markets.
When will the 2025 season start at Premier Padel?
The season will start on February 10th with the Riyadh Season P1 in Saudi Arabia, followed by a tournament in Spain to be confirmed. It will then continue with two new stops in Miami and Cancun (the latter at the Rafa Nadal Academy).
In the early spring he will head back to Santiago de Chile to continue with the first Major of the season, the Qatar Major. At the end of April he will head back to Spain for another P2. After a two-week break, a mini-tour of South America will take place, with stops in Asunción (Paraguay) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Europe will host several tournaments between June and October, with a mid-season break in August, and will return to several well-known countries and locations, such as Italy (Rome, Milan), Spain (Valladolid, Malaga, Madrid), France (Bordeaux, Paris) and the Netherlands (Rotterdam). The European leg will also include the first tournament in Germany.
The circuit will then return to the Middle East for tournaments in Egypt (NewGiza) and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), concluding the regular season with the Mexico Major at the end of November.
As was the case in 2024, the season will conclude with the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona, scheduled for 8-14 December.
The Majors and the Finals will once again be held at the same venue.
The calendar also includes highlights such as the four Major tournaments, which will be played in Qatar, Italy, France and Mexico. In addition, the Premier Padel Finals will return to Barcelona from the 8th to the 14th of December, bringing together the best pairings on tour.
6 tournaments will be played in Spain
After holding 5 tournaments in 2024, Spain will add a sixth event in our country in 2025. The venue has not yet been defined, but it is expected to be in the next few days.
At the moment the events in Malaga, Valladolid, Madrid and the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona have been confirmed. The other two venues are not yet known. It is only known that one event will be a P1 event and the other a P2 event.
The Intercontinental Cup and the World Pairs Cup complete the calendar.
Also new this year will be the first edition of the FIP Intercontinental Cup in August, a format inspired by the Ryder Cup in golf and the Laver Cup in tennis, and the FIP World Pairs Cup, scheduled for November.
