The change of couples has left a new marriage in the World Padel Tour. The union of Paquito Navarro and Fede Chingotto will start to create memories, the ball will start to rock to the rhythm of the pairing from Seville and Olavarri, this time on the same side of the court.
Another couple that was born after two that said goodbye when the project was just beginning. Everything suggests that they have been transitory relationships, something so fleeting that we have barely had time to interpret the harmony of these players.
Paquito Navarro and Fede Chingotto made their union official on the afternoon of Monday the 3rd of April. “We are very happy to announce our union and start a new stage. We are going to give everything with a lot of work and enthusiasm. We hope to be at the height of an ultra-competitive circuit and give you a lot of joy”, said both players in the Instagram post they shared.
The new alliance brings Paquito back to the place he should never have left. He abandoned the backhand to play with Tello and now, with the couple that had been the Argentine’s partner for the rest of his life, he will return to the side of the court that he dominates.
The player from Seville has decided to try to get along with the two members of a duo that became a classic in professional padel. With the former there was no luck, now it’s time to see if his game is more compatible with Fede’s.
The lack of understanding between many of the players who until now shared a team has become evident after the Latin American tour. Once it has come to an end, it has also come to an end for some of the couples that had practically just started working together.
This is the case, as we have already mentioned, of the split between Navarro and Tello. In the same way, this has caused the break-up of two more. Specifically, they have been that of Chingotto and Garrido and that of the Malagueños, Álex Ruiz and Momo González, the latter as a result of Juan’s call to the left-footed player.
This is where the dance begins. Tello with Ruiz and Chingotto with Paquito. For his part, Momo has already started his new project with Yanguas and Garrido has not yet confirmed who his new ally will be. Although everything seems to indicate that it will be Jon Sanz.
After breaking up with Di Nenno, the player from Seville hasn’t been able to find his new perfect couple. Someone who prepares the points, is forceful in defence and keeps his mind focused when the situation requires it.
He had that combination with the Argentinian player, but he couldn’t get it with Tello, even when it was Navarro on the backhand. Now he has a new opportunity with Chingotto, a player who has all these characteristics and who is capable of pulling the duo together in the worst moments.
The theory gives free rein to our imagination to visualise a scenario in which the new union could give much to talk about and much to enjoy. Not only that, but they might also be able to put more than one person in a tight spot.
The couple’s debut will take place at the Granada Open, the fifth tournament of the season, from the 8th to the 16th of April. It will be then that we will see the potential of the combination of these two types of play.
We can’t be sure that they are going to stand up to the top seeds, but what we can be sure of is that they are going to fight and give their all for every point. Both have a warrior’s padel and the right competitiveness to always look for the best results. The show is served.
