How long does the installation of a padel court take? This is undoubtedly one of the questions most often asked by future padel club managers, and then again, how can you blame them? Leaving aside the irrepressible desire to see the finished project and to wait, like a child at Christmas, for the day of the inauguration, it is normal that many other factors rest on the timing that brings a padel court to see the light.
One among them, lies in the undoubtedly economic aspect of the installation: It is easy to guess that the longer the installation takes, the more it will cost, and clearly, as the number of courts increases, the number of days required to complete the job increases exponentially.
Just think that to install a padel court, you need teams of at least 3–4 people, who will need to be given room and board in addition to their regular pay, and the math is soon done.
It should be specified first that in this article we will not consider the construction of the concrete slab but will focus only and exclusively on the installation of the padel court itself and thus the structure, the glass, the mat and the accessories.
The average time for the construction and installation of a padel court varies between 4 and 5 days of work: about 1 and a half days per component: 1 and a half for the iron structure including poles, beams and fences, 1 and a half for the glazing and 1 and a half for the mat and accessories. Definitely not bad in terms of timing, but is there anything better? We are about to tell you about it!
Since 2023, a new company in the padel court industry has entered the market like a bolt of lightning, and it has done so in a big way, with a product that has never been seen before and that can provide unprecedented benefits to all stakeholders in this industry, including installers: we are talking about NXPadel and its Fiberglass courts.
In addition to being the holders of the International Patent for the Fiberglass structure, NXPadel has not stopped and has continued on the path of innovation by reinventing all the components of the padel court following the philosophy of providing everyone with new benefits and has done so with ComfortGlass, an incredible acrylic glass that makes it indestructible for the first time and ZeroS, the first sand-free mat.
In the first analysis, it is useful to consider that both the Fiberglass structure, ComfortGlass and ZeroS (because of the total absence of sand) mean that the total weight of the court is far less (about 1/3 of an iron field), and this in itself contributes to faster unloading operations and excellent handling of the various components.
Focusing on the Fiberglass structure, two of the most incredible technologies that identify it consist of the Click&Fix and RailSystem, which together allow superfast and optimized assembly of the fences thanks to a special system of guides and joints. Thanks to this, in just over 4 hours the entire structure will be assembled.
Let’s move on to ComfortGlass, the special acrylic glass that brings to the highest level the safety of the installers but also and especially the players on the court. Speaking of installation, the ComfortGlass is also designed to have a special design that allows it to fit perfectly to the support poles requiring very few screws and ensuring a perfect but above all intuitive and fast fixing. Halfway through the second day of work, all that will remain is to install the ZeroS mat.
The most salient feature of this new-generation mat lies in the fact that it is completely free of sand, not even a grain, and this, in addition to ensuring greater durability, thanks to the absence of abrasion due to friction between sand and shoes, guarantees a significant saving of time in having to unload and redistribute the sand. But there is more.
ZeroS, is completely glued to the ground unlike the other synthetic turf mats and this promotes faster and rather simple installation without the risk of bubbles or wrinkles forming in the mat.
In about half a day ZeroS will be perfectly installed, and in the meantime the glue dries we can devote ourselves to the net, accessories and lights.
So in not even three days of work N1A comes to life, the most innovative padel court in the world, which, thanks to its incredible benefits for all stakeholders is changing the rules of the game and in this case, also the rules of the weather!
