Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez have been proclaimed winners of the Master Final after beating Jessica Castelló and Aranza Osoro 6-4 and 6-1 in the final played this Sunday morning.
Four players who didn’t know what it was like to be Masters reached the last round of the Master Final. Faced with this opportunity, the two couples took to the court to give their best and close the year with a title.
The match was very even during the first set, where there were few break opportunities. However, Brea and Gonzalez took control of the match and didn’t allow their opponents any break opportunities. With a final score of 6-4, the number 3 seeds took an important step towards the Masters title.
In the second set, Aranza and Jessica didn’t feel comfortable on court and couldn’t show their best version. Delfi and Bea, on the other hand, continued to show their spectacular form and with 5 consecutive games they dynamited the final, closing the match with a clear 6-1.
Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez are proclaimed winners in the last World Padel Tour Master Final, thus closing a spectacular end of season, winning the last four titles and ending a 2023 where they have won a whopping 7 titles.
Furthermore, with today’s victory, they finish the year ahead of Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega as the number 2 couple.
