Daddy Yankee’s Flowrida Goats win Pro Padel League Cup Finals

Daddy Yankee couldn’t be prouder of his franchise! The Flowrida Goats won the Pro Padel League Cup Finals last night after defeating the Miami Padel Club by a score of 2-1.

The Pro Padel League Cup Finals is over, and with it the 2024 season of the North American circuit is over. The 8 best franchises of the regular season met this week in New York to play this last tournament.

After a first group stage, the knockout stage was held last Friday, with the semi-finals being played. Two franchises emerged victorious from that day, the Flowrida Goats and Miami Padel Club, who fought for the title in the early hours of Saturday morning.

In the end, the winners were the Flowrida Goats of the singer Daddy Yankee, who have Martín Di Nenno, Franco Stupaczuk, Aranza Osoro and Gemma Triay in their ranks, among others.

The women’s match between Gemma Triay and Aranza Osoro and Ari Sánchez and Marta Talaván opened the day with a 6-3, 6-3 win for Gemma Triay and Aranza Osoro.

In the second round, Agustin Tapia and Jon Sanz levelled the tiebreak for the Miami franchise after beating Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk 7-6, 3-6 and 10-7 in the super tiebreak.

Therefore, the title would be decided in the mixed match. Franco Stupaczuk and Aranza Osoro managed to beat Ari Sanchez and Agustin Tapia by 6-2.
