Their current form is unbeatable. Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia won their fifth World Padel Tour title of the season on Sunday after beating Franco Stupaczuk and Martín Di Nenno 6-4, 7-5.
The player from Valladolid and the one from Catamarca keep adding victories to their credit, and with the twenty-second won this Sunday they conquered a new title.
Although the match was quite even, two breaks in the final part of each set were enough for them to win. In the first set it was at 5-4 in their favour, and in the second at 6-5. Undoubtedly, crucial moments in each set that gave their rivals no chance to react.
Apart from that, Coello and Tapia held their serves with great solvency, thanks in large part to the favourable conditions they found in Granada, where their hitting was simply extraordinary. They had no choice but to base their game down low to Di Nenno and Stupaczuk. However, in the important moments of the match, they gave up their serve.
After the match, Agustin Tapia commented to the World Padel Tour microphones: “We don’t realize what we’re doing right now. We take it match by match. Arturo was great today, and he saved me a lot”.
The professional circuit rests next week, but for the following week it will travel to Brussels, where the second edition of the Brussels Padel Open will take place. We will see there what conditions the players are in and if Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia continue their positive streak. Time and tournaments will tell!
