Acero Padel: from Sweden, without artifice or frills

At Acero Padel you won’t find pretentious names or fairground decorations, but rackets designed with the pure purpose of improving your game. From Stockholm, Ronnie and Mattias Österberg, father and son, launched this brand in 2021 after an unpromising debut inside the padel court: many balls to the net, missed serves and the classic rookie debut. What was clear was that a passion was born. And, like the Österberg family, if you like something, why not dedicate 100% to it?

That’s how in 2020 they decided to create padel equipment, with the approach of a player and leaving aside the formulas of conventional marketing. That’s why Acero Padel offers a compact collection: only four rackets models that continue year after year because, as they say, “when something works, why change it?”.

The Acero Padel collection: pure functionality in four models

Acero Padel doesn’t believe in launching one model per season. Here you will find robust and contrasted rackets, designed to adapt to different playing styles and levels. Do you want control, power or a bit of both? In their catalogue you will always find a balanced option for your needs, without the need to get complicated between a dozen models. Whether you are an amateur or an advanced player, Acero Padel has something for you.

No.1

Perfect for those looking for an offensive racket. With its diamond shape, 18K hitting surface and high balance, it is ideal for a fast and powerful game.

No. 2

This teardrop-shaped model balances control and power, making it very versatile. The 12K surface and medium balance provide a good combination for players who need to adapt to both defence and attack.

No. 3

Designed for those who prioritise control. Its round shape, 3K surface and low balance offer great manoeuvrability and comfort in defensive play, being very suitable for minimising errors.

No. X: the jewel in the crown

If we talk about their best-selling racket, the No. X Racket is undoubtedly the star of the show. This racket has sold out three times and is back in stock in an improved version (V2). Designed after a year of tournaments and player feedback, the No. X combines premium materials with the most innovative technologies to deliver a hybrid racket between teardrop and diamond that feels agile and powerful.

  • Premium material: The surface is made of 24K carbon, with 24,000 carbon fibre threads per cm². This gives it a fast responsive feel and a strong structure.
  • Unique drilling system: The racket has three hole sizes (with a total of 71 holes) that widen the sweet spot and make it easier to hit. In addition, the larger holes on the edges improve aerodynamics and soften the impact.
  • Structure and Anti-Vibration Technology: A medium stiff EVA rubber core offers a balance of control and power, while the shaft and neck design reduces vibration for comfortable play.
  • Weight and balance: Between 345–355 grams and an average balance of 260 mm, the No. X is easy to handle in any situation, perfect for both attacking and more defensive play.

The No. X is designed for intermediate to advanced players looking for a versatile racket with an extra attacking touch. Thanks to its light weight and medium stiffness core, this racket responds perfectly in every movement. Acero Padel’s authentic approach

Acero Padel is all about transparency: no flashy decorations or promises of ‘superpowers’. Instead of bombastic names, their rackets have simple names and a functional design that focuses on durability and reliability.

Behind the brand are, quite simply, Ronnie and Mattias, who claim not to be “not the best at the game, but very good at the material”. They are obsessed about creating a racket that regular players enjoy, and that’s why they, after working closely with their customers, have an average racket rating of 4.9 out of 5.0.
