Munich is the city that will have the privilege of being the capital of sport between the 3rd and 5th of December 2024. Due to the celebration of the ISPO Munich 2024, the largest sports fair in Europe is going to be present in German territory in just a few days and the padel is going to have a great prominence in it, with a multitude of activities taking place in its Padel Village.
Compared to the one held in the past 2023, this year’s event will be accompanied by some changes. In the same way, the fair will also have a large attendance which, in part, is due to the presence of professionals from different backgrounds.
Padel to play a bigger role at ISPO Munich
At ISPO 2024, among other new features, the sport of 20×10 will be highlighted with a padel court in the ISPO Padel Village. With less space available than at the previous edition, when two courts were set up, the blue carpet will be used for padel.
Continuing with this same aspect, a large number of activities will be carried out in this area for those who are most passionate about this sport that is in continuous expansion.
Activities at the ISPO Padel Village
This Padel Village will be located in Hall B3, in the racket sports area, next to the Pickleball Village. It will be made up of areas that can be visited and where various activities will be held.
The padel court will be located in the centre, while around it there will be stands and a lounge. For its part, the Dragonet space will be the fourth location that we will be able to find at the fair, as far as padel is concerned.
It will be in this padel court where the organised activities will take place. These will begin next Tuesday, 3 December, at 09:00 hours, and will end on Thursday, 5 December, at 15:00 hours. During this time they will be held without interruption.
Among other things, attendees will be able to watch exhibition matches and there will also be open moments for anyone who wants to play. There will also be product presentations and tournaments of sports equipment. As a preview, we can say that in one of these matches will be Alba Galán and Mari Carmen Villalba.
In the case of the Padel Village lounge, this will be the space for presentations and speeches of the different participating brands. The number of events held in the lounge will be lower than in the court. As we can see in the following graph, the first day will host three, the second day four and the third day only one.
Who can attend ISPO Munich 2024?
As far as the participants of this event are concerned, attendance is exclusively for professionals, and they can attend as exhibitors, by accessing the information in this link. This is a very good opportunity for padel-related brands to make themselves known to a new public, both new and long-established.
With less than a week to go before the start of this new edition of the biggest sports fair in Europe, we already know many of the brands that have not hesitated to confirm their attendance. In this way, they make sure to be present and reserve one of the limited number of exhibitors and spaces for themselves, as we have seen in the graphic of the three days.
