The 2024 season will be different from the previous two. From this year we will have a single professional padel circuit, under the name of Premier Padel, which will be regulated by the International Padel Federation (FIP). This will also mean that all players will focus on a single ranking subject to the points obtained in the Premier Padel tournaments, in the CUPRA FIP Tour events and in the World Pairs Championship.
How many types of tournaments are there per circuit?
In Premier Padel
Premier Padel tournaments are divided into 3 categories: Majors, P1 tournaments and P2 tournaments. In addition, to end the season, the Premier Padel Tour Finals will be held in December with the presence of the best players of the year.
On the CUPRA FIP Tour
In the tournaments of the FIP circuit, the CUPRA FIP Tour, we find up to 5 categories: Platinum, Gold, Star, Rise and Promotion. There will also be a tournament to close the year, the FIP Finals.
